Sony has announced two new Android smart phones, Xperia tipo and tipo dual(Dual Sim) in its Xperia line-up yesterday. Sony Xperia Tipo and Tipo Dual running on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).
Both the phones have 3.2″ (480 x 320 pixels) 262000 color TFT display and are powered by 800 MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. They also contain xLOUD audio Experience. The Sony Xperia Tipo Dual has Dual SIM support with one touch SIM switch key.
“Xperia Miro is for those who want an integrated social media and a great music experience while Xperia tipo is for consumers who want to realise the benefits of a smartphone for the first time as they migrate from a feature phone.”, said Calum MacDougall, Director Xperia Marketing at Sony Mobile Communications.
Sony Xperia Tipo would be available in Black, White, Red and Blue Colors while Sony Xperia Tipo dual would come in Black and White colors. Both the phones are expected to be available in market in Q3 of 2012.
